There are 2 center of this shop, one at 'Semarang street' and another one at 'Selat panjang street'. Also they have some branches store, and it's in Palladium mall.

Seems like our goveerment a little bit late on taking care the heritage. Well when we travelling to other countries then they must have some heritage lace, for example when you go to mellaca there are so famous place like "Baba and Nyonya house" or there red church etc. Then if you go to medan there just a little heritage we can give ( History place ).
The only place we can go is Istana Maimun, Taman Deli( English word => Deli Garden ) and Kesawan road. Yeah the only road where we just can only see old houses still stand.

Then finally Tjong a Fie mansion open for people, it's like Baba and Nyonya house but in Medan version. Of couse some of the room were closed cause the ownd grangranchild still live in there. There mansion devide into three type, that are Melayu style, Dutch style and china style each of this type were used to served hosts long time ago. Tjong a Fie mansion take place at Kesawan street and after you go there you also can taste delicious cake and icecream at TIP TOP ( In ftont if Tjong a fie Mansion ), they use old machine to make cake and icecream. So if you go to MEdan then don't forget to visit here

D'loft : Steak

Everybody love cheap things even sometimes the quality of cheap things is bad, dontcha? Then this one won't be like that. And it is a steak! Steak??? What do you have for Tea time? Simple snack? Yeah this the right place to go, I mean MR PANCAKE. The interior really good, I can say it's a home-like theme, althought there are so many Frame at there but for pancake and wafel lover this is the greatest place to go @ Medan. Palace of pancakes!

Well it is home of beautiful parks, example Wong Nai Siong Square, Kutien Memorial Park, Sibu Town Square, Sibu Gateway and so on so on. But the most excited is Bukit Aup Jubilee Park ! The total undulating land for development is more than 200 acres

At the lowest there is a big pond, we can feed fishes by purchasing 1 rm fish food. Onced I threw it then a group of fish came, the fish is so big. Actually we can use this park for jogging, relaxing and picnic. Well I saw two men came down from the top, It made me curious why they could sweated so much, then I went up and Wow I knew the reason why they could sweated so much. When we are at the top of the park we can see Sibu town.

Wesak Day

Five days more we will celebrate the wesak day. There will we so many place to celebrate this day, also like paladium plaza this week they make an expo for wesak. There were so many combination of flower which have meaning for Buddhis from a flourist store. Unfortunately they forbid people to take a photo for that ( What a selfish action ). Also around medan from 5 until 10 may the will also an expo, from Dharma Santi Temple / BLIA they expo will be hold on 8 & 9 may at Tiara Convention Centre not only expo we will also see a parade of decorated cars ( actually this one is amazing, the route ).

Thinkng back where will you eat this saturday morning? Yes I will go to Cemara asri Complex, the is a big temple they have a vegetarian restaurant, the system is buffet. The resataurant name is Teko Healthy Resto the place is totally clean and goods, it is a very nice temple in Medan.

Horta A Holiculture Doll

Something new I get today is a new inovation that is a doll call Horta. This isn't just a normal doll or like robot but this is an unique doll which his head can grow grass. Wow what a cute doll, the discoverer was a graduated student from IPB ( An agriculture institute at Bogor ). As I read that this doll skin was made from leg stoking and content with wasted disposal saw powder this is exactly can help the global warming don't cha?

First submerge Horta's body in the water at least 1 hour or 1 day, after that keep Horta from sun for 1 week. Spray the doll with water at least 2 times a day if we nurses it good and in 3 day we can see it grow a bit, after a month the grass will grow longer and we can cut it as what we want because the grass will look like hair of this doll. Warning : don't cut the grass before a month cause if we do it the grass will be dead.

Today I got a bad lunch and very creepy for me. I went to sun plaza and have lunch at Nelayan Shanghai Kitchen. They have 10 fave food one of them is baked cheese rice, last 2 week I had already c this menu and I make become curious until today lunch I order it.

When it come I think it was delicious, the melting cheesewere cover the rice at the top and I mix them, then I taste it Uekhhh! Was a freak food it is so sweet and so salty. If you look at the picture it looks like a porridge but actually the rice become stickky after I mixed it with cheese. There are also corn and meat. But if I come again I won't order this food again

Aryaduta Hotel : A beautiful inovation

Yesterday I went to Aryaduta Hotel, my father got invited to a inauguration for new managers that will manage PGSI ( Persatuan Gulat Seluruh Indonesia ) for 2009 to 2012 at Medan. Gulat means wrestler and my father's friend was choose to be the head of PGSI at Medan. Btw it was a freaky conversation also boring speechthat made me went out and got a flesh air ot there althought the room was big but I was bored to hear the freaky speech.

Luckily the ceremony take part at 9th floor means it is as same as the swimming pool, the reastaurant and the lobby take place. I choose to sat beside the restaurant because there a group of guitarist and a singer, and they sang a latin song wow I like it that makes this restaurant become perfect. Beside that suddenly a lamp took my attention, I thought it used electricity but no, it didn't. To change the bulb they use a candle at the middle. It look so cool and usefull because at this global warming time we must safe the electricity and good for recession time because it will econimize the electric so I thing if we wan make a new thing with our desk lamp lets change the bulb with candle.

Usually people always eat bread every for their breakfast. Thats why so many bakery were opened to get a lot buyer. Beside that they not only makes bread but also cakes from small cakes until wedding cakes in many various price. Because so many bakery open they make many fantantis breads.

In Medan there were open bread talk and bread life at Sunplaza. It located at the same floor and near. But the crowded is bread talk. Even the prices is so expensives buy they prefer to buy at there. Bread talk shop is smaller than bread life shop. Hmmm but the best decor in Medan is Baker. It is very large the interior design and the exterior design is also amazing. The bread is also delicious, and Sometimes they will give you a small bread for you to test.

Unfortunately I dont have the bread picture but I have the cakes picture. Baker located at Sumatra street.

Medan has so many food. Then I think that I will focus about the foods. hmmm today I will tell you about the very famous and very expensive noodle in medan is tiong sim noodle. It has so many branches in so many brand. It cost IDR 18000 that was very expensive noodle and famous. Yeah that is the sacrifice to eat delicious foods. It opened at wahidin street, selat panjang street, semarang street, and in palladium mall.

It will be crowded when saturday and sunday nights. If you go to Medan you must go to eat this noodle. At wahidin street it open from morning until night, for selat panjang street and semarang street it open at evening until night. At palladiun mall ussually open at 10 A.M until 9 P.M.

Absent is not good if you absent at school, but if you absent in writting blog who care? nobody will blame you if you absent not to post a blog for a day maybe for everyday and there are no punishment if you absent to post a blog. By the way I have a reason why I don't post a blog for so many week, that because I have a lot of exam in my school and I also lazy to post a blog. The also another reason why I don't post a blog for so many week it is because I don't have any idea about the topic. Today my topic is about Mcdonald package.

Mcdonald have so many package it also have kids package that will give you a free toy its call happy meal. When I was children I always want to buy happy meal, because I like the toy, I have so many collection until they were sold by mygrandmother because I am too old to play that toys.
Last two week there were Olympic held on Beijing and the ceremonial opening was so amazing, I like the first show that have a thousand men play the drum and it will light when they hit the drum. The make it very good especially when they make number for count down of Beijing Olympic. Last week when I go to Mcdonald with my friend I buy happy meal package so that I can get one of fuwa doll. There only have jingjing, yingying, nini. Because I like yingying then I choose that one.

Mcdonald make this fuwa doll toys with a function as a stamp.Under the toys there are a stamp with small asia continent picture. Beside that Indonesia Mcdonald is diffrent with Malyasia Mcdonald. In Indonesia they prefer with Chicken and there are many menu that combine with chicken. But in Malaysia they prefer with burger, they make so many burger type but in Indonesia they only have bigmac and chicken or beef burger.

Medan foods

North Sumatra is called as the paradise of foods because every food you want its in here. The most popular one is BPK (Babi panggang karo) in english name Karo roasted pig. It made by karo people. There also have a lot of noodle that make from other chinese ethnic, the popular noodle is tiong sim noodle. This nodle was very famous and delicious and the price also expensive it cost IDR 18000 for a bowl. Another noodle thats also famous that name bak mie khek it made from khek ethnic people cost IDR 6000 ( the cheap one). Another delcious but expensive is hokkien noodle its made by hokkien ethnic people it cost IDR 13000.

Hokkien noodle have prawn, fish ball, chicken meat, mushroom and egg, actually only that but depend on the seller they maybe can add other stuff. Not only noodle were famous but rice also famous. There are padang rice, this rice have spicy taste for eople who cannot eat spicy food dont it this. It can add chicken, fish, egg, ect. This rice were fill with spicy soup like curry soup, there also have jacfrut that cook with curry soup.

The cheapest one is nasi prang is a sweet rice that like nasi padang bt this is the small version. It can added with cicken, fish and egg. Some seller made it different with made the rice colour became light purple or light green, dont think its use dye but t use some fruit or plant to make it has another colour.

MC donald: MC spaghetti

The price of everything has increased because of the increment of fuel price. The food seller have to be tricky in order to keep on running their business. It is either they increase the price or don't change the price but decrease the amount of the food and quality.

Some fast food restaurants come out with economical packages, so we can save our money. McDonald in Indonesia made it 3 years ago. It is called 'Serba lima ribu', in English - everything costs IDR 5000, which is less than USD1. That was cheap. There is cold Milo (small size), Coca Cola, McFloat, McNugget, McSundae, Spaghetti, McFries and hamburger (chicken or beef ). After the increment of fuel price, the hamburger is now at IDR.7.000. Still, it's below USD.1.

As for myself, I alway go to mcd just to eat the spaghetti. Weird huh? People goes there for the burger or french fries and I go there for the spaghetti. Well, I like it very much. It taste delicious and different than other spaghetti, although the sauce looks so normal.

Besides spaghetti, I also like McNugget. If you don't eat beef, don't worry cause this is is a chicken nugget. For the IDR.5000 package, there is only 4 pieces of nuggets. You will get another two nuggets if you pay for IDR.9000.

So, McD, I'm lovin it!.

Global warming was like a ghost for us.The iar around us is hot its because of global warming, north pole animaldie and iceberg melt its because of global warming.Will therea solution for this? its is the question on our heart.So many organization search the solution.

Doctor Pachauri make a solution for save our earth."Don't eat meat, ride abike, and be a frugal shopper - thats how u can help brake global warming" because of this word he become a winner of the 2007 Nobel Peace Pzie-winning scientific panel on climate change.

Scientist have a great solution for save our earth than saving energy or recycle that is becomea vegetarian. In 2006 PBB gave a report that breed animal to get food were produce so much glass house gas that gas that come out from all the cars. Henning Steinfield report that meat industry were one of contributor that the most play role in this problem. CO2, Metana, nutious oxide were the suspect of globl warming. Harvesting animal to get their meat is one of the source of CO2, metana and noutrious oxide.So after you read this do you want change to vegetarian?

Global warming making so many trouble to us and many disaster will come is we not surpress it then a catastrope will came in early year.Global warming make Iceberg in North pole melt then Many animal live in there will death or extinct in this world.So give your hand and help to ward off this disaster.Many company start to care abutour enviroment then they make some thing that can help this global warming but a little.Some people make an invention like making a new bag that can change the position of plastic bag, this new bag were make from fabric so it can easily been hang loosely than plastic bag that can't been recycle.

Carrefour were some of the company that help to surpress global warming with selling a fabric bag.The design of this bag were coloured by green colour and have a picture that draw a hand hold a tree.Carrefour careabout our enviroment but it still use a plastic bag to put costumers stuff into it.Actually thats not good.I also have a fabric bag, I get it from Singapore.It was dark brown colour and have recyle pictures ot it.At the other side it writes "Please recycle me".

I had already read a lot of people or company from other country that make fabric bag but Indonesia never make it.The government said that the will help to surpress globalwarming with give some seed that easy to plant to society but untill now they never send it to us.Every year there always have presiden pictures he plants a plant in newspaper.Actually he just planted one plant and cut a lot of trees from forest.Beside that every year our country always had black out it happen everyday.Because of the black out people buy generator then they spend a lot of money to buy fuel.Some people died because this black out , they died because of the generator, there just 2 method how they die that are becuase of generator smoke and when they open the generator then the generator explode.

Looks like it just a simple case but do you know people everyday buy fuel to fill their empty generator then the fuel become a little.Because that government increase fuel price that so the one who make fuel become expensive be cause of PLN.They make so many people death because of black out and they make the fuel price become increase.I have heard from a lot of people said that PLN make black out because they sell fuel so they get more money or because of the increasing of fuel price they make black out.When the black out come they will tell to newspaper that they have something to change because it were already old so many nonsense thing they tell but infact they just lie.Yesterday I read the newspaper it wrote that the vice president optimist that there will never black out again.

Then the other company copy it and make an imitation same like it.Then a few month later this drink wasn't popular again, then nutrisari replace the popularlity of pop ice.The other company make the same like that the favor of the other company was little just ony apple, grape, orange,etc.Then a few month later it position change again and replace by green tea, they make it same again and the favor was same, that was green tea, tea plus honey lemon, and tea plus cinnamon.

Pizza hut : Give a free potatoes

Last Sunday I went to Pizza hut with my family. Everything was ok, we ordered what we wanted to eat. But when we ordered potatoes wedges, the waitress asked us,"how many do you want? six or ten?". We were confuse for a while. Since when the potatoes wedges is determined by numbers? Maybe it's the new rule? So, we asked for ten pieces.

To our surprise, they served chicken wings to us. That wasn't what we ordered. Then the conversation began:
mother : "Sorry, we don't ordered this chicken wings."
waitress1 : "But you pick that chicken wing from the menu."
mother : "No, it's potatoes wedges."
waitress1 : "Ok.I will check it again."

Later...the other waitress comes with the waitress1
waitress2 : "Good night ma'am.Which one do you one? Potatoes or chicken?"
Mother : "We choose potatoes wedges. Anyway, can u changes it to potatoes? You still haven't out it in the bill, right?"
Waitress2: "Sorry.But it has already in the bill."
Mother : "Ok. Wrap it and we'll bring it home then."

The waitress went away. We were half away eating while the waitress came back again and gave us a plastic box filled with chicken wing. Then the unforgettable moments comes... They gave us potatoes wedges for free! The waitress said that this is the apology because they place a wrong ordered. :)

Pizza hut : Peking gold pizza

Pizza hut at Thamrin Plaza

Pizza Hut has a new pizza variety pizza called 'Peking Gold Pizza'. Don't expect to see part of pecking duck on top of the pizza. The topping is filled with slice of peach, cucumber, mash potato and some kind of peking sauce which looks disgusting to me. The edges was filled by cheese.

Fortunately, i ordered small size,instead of medium or big. Else, i'll have to ask the waiter/ress to wrap it and let me brought back home.

Pekking gold pizza comes with a drink called 'Peking Rose Tea'. This tea was mixed with slice of peach too. It tasted like semboi drink (semboi is made by peach too). The waiter told us that the peach in the tea can be eaten.

After we finished our meal, the waitress came and asked our opinion about the peking gold pizza. Obviously, it didn't suite our taste. I mean, peking duck, peach and pizza all together? What a weird combination..

Taka Bento

Yesterday I went to Sun Plaza with my friends. We had a dinner at Taka Bento, a so called Japanese restaurant. The place wasn't crowded but there was a few patrons. Anyway, I ordered chiken teriyaki that cost IDR 12.727 without rice. Additional rice cost me another IDR. 6.363. That was expensive and the portion is so small.

I regret that I ordered chiken teriyaki + rice instead of steak. The steak only costs IDR.30.000 with a larger portion. If i ordered it, I must be satisfied.

When I thought, their food was expensive enough, here came another one. Mineral water and tea is at IDR 4.545. What a waste of my money.

Besides that, orange juice is at IDR 8.000. If we order in other restaurants, the orange juice usually only costs IDR 5.000 while the tea is usually at IDR 2.000. Alright, I know, this is a restaurant with air conditioner and it is inside Sun Plaza, hence the price is like that.

Conclusion: Nothing special with the food in Taka Bento. With that expensive price and low quality, I think they will need to make a discount if they want a lot of visitor to eat there.
